New toy!

Well, my granddad is leaving tomorrow. he has been here since thursday and we have had a great time! I have been getting walks in the morning and play time in the afternoon. We went to the dog park and I swam in the dog lake. My granddad even got me two new toys. I really love this buffalo. I am going to miss him but I am sure he will come back soon.

Grandad is here!!!

My Grandad came to town this weekend. He stayed home with me all day yesterday, we had so much fun going on a walk and playing in the yard. Today he even took me to the dog park to watch me swim. My friend Eva the yorkipoo is here with us until her new house is built. We are having fun but she keeps trying to bite me ears. And she sleeps in my toy box so I can't get my toys out. I am having a great summer! Its been hot but I have my swimming pool and gives me an excuse to lay around and be lazy. Hope you are having a good summer too!

Dog Days of Summer are here

Hello all! Well some exciting things have happened since my last post. Most notably would be last week when I unknowingly chewed through the electrical wiring on the air conditioning. Lets just say it was a very hot night and my mommy was not to happy with me. I was in the dog house, figuratively speaking of course as I always sleep in the bed. I have recently taken up swimming. I hear its good for the heart and its just plain fun! Can't let all those stuck up Labradors think they own the place right, I mean I know the jump in with style and flare, but my motto is always safety first! I like to wade in up to the chest and then slowly doggie paddle my way to the closest tennis ball. I am looking forward to my granddad visiting in a few weeks. And don't forget to tell your dad Happy Fathers day next Sunday! My mom got me a doggie pool for the backyard and I am off to do some laps, see you soon!

Fun with Aunt Brittany

So my Aunt Brittany is in town for two weeks. I am really excited about it because I get to sleep in and I don't have to go to daycare. She keeps giving me treats and lets me lay around in the backyard all day. She is going to take me to the dog park and to petsmart for a bath sometime this week. Her and my mommy went to the strawberry festival last weekend. They said it was fun but there werent any strawberries. They did see some more mutton bustin' and an alligator wrestler. Kinda random for a strawberry festival. Wednesday they are going to a hockey game, but I cant go to that, or to the baseball game on friday. Man, dogs should get into all that stuff! Cinco de Mayo!!

Hola amigos! I hope you had a fabulous end of April. My mom went on vacation to Las Vegas to see my aunt Brittany so I couldnt write and then she got sick so I was out last week too, but not today!! I had to get one good one in before I lose my manhood tomorrow. And before I even really had time to enjoy it! My mom claims its my own fault because I am fighting at datcare. I at least got to attend the cinco de mayo fiesta! (pictures included) and Ill update later this week as to the status of my "it" -ness. Love you all,

Rain Rain go away!!

Yuck! It has been raining since yesterday. On the way home from doggie day care it started hailing! Luckily it stopped raining long enough for my mom to take me for a walk. This morning it was just cloudy and sprinkly, but my mom went to get a massage at lunch time and by the time she came home it was raining cats and well, me's. There has been thunder and lightning and I really ahd to pee but I didnt want to go uot there! My mom got out my rain coat but I was not happy about it. I went out and tripped over the leg holes so my mom took it off and then I got wet, but I went potty. When I was finished I ran inside as fast as I could. I had to get towel dried. I sure hope it stops raining soon! My obedience class got cancelled ( I am glad too cause I got in trouble for fighting at daycare and I was going to get discipline!) and I dont know when I can go outside agian, the whole yard is flooded. Oh well at least it should be nice tomorrow.

Hoppy Easter

Greetings everyone! The Easter Bunny came and I got some really great all natural treats and a toy my mom can fill with peanut butter. Mmmm Mmmm I love peanut butter!! At daycare this week we had an easter egg hunt. Being that I am a bloodhound I naturally found the most treats, and even won a free bath for my mommy, though I don't know why she would need a bath from Urban Tails, somthing sounds fishy about that. There is a fabulous photo of me posted below. This weekend my friend Stella the Labradoodle stayed with us while her mom went out of town. At first I was a little unsure about this new dog in my house, but after I realized she was only visiting and here to play I got used to the idea. We went to the dog park and played in the yard, and I even let her sleep in the bed with me and my mom. We had a great Easter! We hope you did too. Love to everyone!
